The Foundation Hymn - Extended Edition

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

The Foundation Hymn - Extended Edition

Post by Eruresto »

Come on guys, get your creative juices flowing! You all know the four verses of the FH: lets see how long we can make it if we write a load more!

Choose something about CH and write a verse about it; it doesn't have to be up to the standard of Upcott - in fact the cheesier the better! Let's see how much we can do!

Looking forward to reading them.

Ok I'll play!

Don't worry I'm not giving up the day job!

Praise him for the CH forum

Linking Hertford Horsham both

Posts conducted with decorum

Remembering adolescent growth

Old and young converse together

Otherwise they'd never meet

Might be politics or the weather

Praise to JT what a feat!

Praise Him for Shelley Wood camping,

For the central clearing wide,

Lots of wood to pieces stamping,

And bracken where I can hide.

Praise the Lord for Spaggy Boggy,

Served to you on plastic plates,

Cocoa making bourbons soggy,

Under canvas with my mates!

Praise the Lord for fags and homebrew,
lighting up in woodlands fair.
Busting, gating, rustigating
punish us but we don't care...

Oh sorry, that's the Housey Rap... ;-)

Guys...you do know those are only half-verses? Good half verse though, Amy...

Matt...I'll congratulate you when you write your own

PS. I was going to tell you when the history was done, but the proxy that lets me use Facebook won't let me.

?

Is that a combination of rusticating and gating??

Sounds nasty....

We who once at Hertford languished,
Not allowed to curl our hair,
Letters read, possessions censored
Things have changed now we're not there.
Modern sisters, cherish freedom!
Nourish it whate'er the price!
Make the most of time at Housey
Luck like that is not found twice.
Thou shalt not sit with statisticians nor commit a social science.

My vote is split between Mid A 15 and Midget! Both excellent and very, very true!
