The way an Australian should always greet an English gentleman

Jonny I love you nearly as much as Amy does!!

(In a manly backslapping sort of way of course!)

Bring on those Argies!

Confession time: I moaned to high heaven when Lewis Moody was replaced by Joe Worsley. Shows what I know! What a tap tackle that was!

Unbelievable stuff! Chuffed to bits!

It's so much more exciting when England win late like that - who wants to see them leading by 20 points at half time and strolling on to an easy victory...?

I do! In the final against Argentina!

P.S. In a mad moment I had my students singing Swing Low the other day. With some of the actions, but not all...
Well, it was a cross-cultural class!

Wow what a game, i was in Maidstone watching that downing a lot of vodka lemonades firstly to ease the nerves then in celebration.

It was a fantastic match to watch, had me on the edge of my seat. The England defence when they were on the try line in the dying 15mins was fantastic.

And although Jonny didnt kick every kick he got the two that mattered at the end. Corry had a couple of awful moments but Danny Hipkiss was fantastic.

Come on next weekend!

Interesting to see that he refused to use one of the balls given by the ball boy as it was not one of the 'match balls'.
How many other times did they pull that trick?

This arrived from Adrian Bawtree at CH, and I thought I'd share it more widely as it certainly worked for last Saturday!
Dear Folks,

The attached track (which I hope didn't take too long to download) is my own effort to "gee up" the troops in advance of our momentous game on Saturday.

The background tune is called, "England Expects" so I unashamedly use it here in advance of the England v France game - after all, they just saw the Battle of Trafalgar as a mild skirmish when they killed our Commander in Chief!

Please feel free to:

a) listen
b) pass on
c) delete as jingoistic crxp

As I say, it is one musician's attempt in entering into the spirit of it all.

Best wishes
Adrian

MIke Oldfield would be proud.

I find it a bit slow, though if it means the England boys tmarching over the prostrate bodies of the opposition then it certainly seems to have inspired Josh Lewsey. (played junior rugby at Amersham and Chiltern, shame about the hamstring)

Anyone know a way to sneak this onto the PA system in Paris?

Why are New Zealanders banned from owning dogs?

Because they don't know how to hold onto a lead

Why are Australian rugby players not allowed to watch Star Trek?

Because they sh*t themselves everytime Captain Picard says "engage".

I just checked my betfair account, and found that I placed a bet I'd completely forgotten about - £10 on England to win, placed in August, at 32:1 - now I just KNOW that England won't win!! I've jinxed them....

Nice result if they do pull it off though!

Does that mean we don't need to worry about our forum donations now?
